ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.R.Gururaj, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.P.Srinivas, learned counsel for the first respondent and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Government Pleader (i/c.) appearing for the second respondent.

2. The prayer of the petitioner is that directions be issued to respondents 1 and 2 to to remove the encroachments put up on the southern platform of East Sannadhi of Sabanayagar (Natarajar) Temple, Chidambaram.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner admits that the encroachments have been removed.

In this view of the matter, nothing further survives in this petition and accordingly, the same is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
