ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed to direct the first and the second respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.04.2025.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that he retired from service on 31.05.2017 and that during the employment he was served with charge memorandum and ultimately vide order dated 06.05.2021 he was permitted to retire with a condition to pay Rs.500/- for a period of twelve (12) months in pursuance of the punishment imposed in the disciplinary proceedings. However, since from the date of his retirement, no pension was paid to the petitioner. In this connection, he has sent a representation dated 09.04.2025 and such representation has not been considered by the respondents.

3. At this juncture, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that they would consider the petitioner's representation within a reasonable time.

4. In view of such submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, according to its own merits and in accordance with law.

5. With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
