ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents.
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to release a sum of
Rs.7,38,040/- for the work done by the petitioner. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if this Court is pleased to permit the petitioner to make a detailed representation to the first respondent, with regard to the reliefs sought in the present writ petition, within a specified period and on such representation being made, the first respondent may be directed to dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.
The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.
In view of such submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned, this Court finds it appropriate to permit the petitioner to submit a detailed representation to the first respondent herein, within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such a representation, the first respondent, shall consider and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, thereafter, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
