ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 03.07.2024, passed by this Court in W.P.No.17435 of 2024, thereby directed the respondent to pay the petitioner a sum of Rs.26,717/- towards interest for the belated payment of difference in gratuity and difference in surrendered earned leave salary, within a period of eight weeks.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that as directed by this Court, the respondent disbursed a sum of Rs.13,368/- towards the belated payment of difference in gratuity and a sum of Rs.10,201/- towards the interest amount for EL surrender. She also produced a copy of the memo of compliance before this Court. 3.
