O R D E R

By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

2. The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to take expeditious time bound action on the representation dated 21.06.2016 and reminders from time to time within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was posted as Assistant Director of Fisheries in the Fisheries Department. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that for additional charge allowance, he has given a representation to the 2nd respondent on 21.06.2016 and the same is yet to be pending with them.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the respondents 1 and 2 had already sent a proposal to the 3rd respondent in this regard. 2/4

6. The learned counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent would submit that they would take a decision upon the proposal of the respondents 1 and 2, within a period of six weeks in accordance with law.

7. In such view of the matter, the 3rd respondent is directed to pass orders upon the proposal of the respondents 1 and 2 on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

8. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
