ORDER

This Writ Petition Criminal has been filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.04.2026 and consequently direct to remove the petitioner's name from the "History Sheeter" list maintained by the 3rd respondent police station.

2. This Writ Petition Criminal is disposed of at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

4. Considering the reasons stated by the petitioner and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.04.2026 and pass orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With this direction, the writ petition criminal stands disposed of. No costs.
