Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the records relating to the Crime No.10 of 2021 dated 13.07.2021 on the file of the AWPS Kottakuppam, Viluppuram District, quash the same by allowing this Criminal Original Petition.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the Crime No.10 of 2021 dated 13.07.2021 on the file of the AWPS Kottakuppam, Viluppuram District and quash the same by allowing this Criminal Original Petition.

2. This Court, by the order, dated 05.10.2021 had directed the first petitioner to appear before the respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Police on 11.10.2021 and co-operate with the investigation. Further the respondent Police forwarded the complaint to the Social Welfare Officer.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the first petitioner still in abroad and he has not taken any steps to come to India to appear before the respondent Police and participate in the Mediation.

4. In view of the same, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. The respondent Police is directed to proceed with the investigation and if needed, coercive action shall be taken.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
