ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to quash the charges framed by the learned Special Judge, Chengalpattu, on 14.10.2019 in Spl.S.C.No.7 of 2019 as against the petitioner for offence under Section 7 of The Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 as amended by Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 2018.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he had instructions from the petitioner to withdraw the original petition and therefore, he prayed this court to permit him to withdraw the petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect. Permission is granted.

3. In view of the above, the criminal original petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed.
