The prayer made in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to release the Maruthi Swift vehicle bearing Registration No.TN 01 AC 9581 seized by the third respondent on 15.09.2013 to the petitioner.

2.Today, when this matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication. 3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
