ORDER

The present petition has been filed seeking modification of the condition imposed against the petitioner vide order dated 06.05.2026 made in Crl.O.P.No.11909 of 2026, directing the petitioner to deposit a sum of 1/4

Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) as cost to the Tamil Nadu Advocate Clerk Association, Chennai.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on 06.05.2026 (date of order), though it was represented that the petitioner was ready to deposit a sum of Rs.50,000/- to the Tamil Nadu Advocate Clerk Association, Chennai, after pronouncement of the above order, the petitioner finds it difficult to mobilise the amounts effectively. The petitioner has been in incarceration for his inability to pay the said amount. Hence, the learned counsel would request that the amount shall be reduced to Rs.10,000/- to enable the petitioner to mobilise the same.

Considering the above submission, in the condition No.8 of the order dated 06.05.2026 made in Crl.O.P.No.11909 of 2026 the cost imposed is only modified to the effect that "the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) to the Tamil Nadu Advocate Clerk Association instead of "Rs.50,000/-". Further, a period of two weeks' time is granted to comply with the conditions imposed in the said order, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, the bail shall stand automatically cancelled without further reference to this Court. The other conditions shall remain unaltered.
