O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the pending UDR correction proceedings related to Survey Nos.364/5, 364/7, 364/8 and 474/3 situated in Thiruvallur District, Avadi Taluka, Vellanur Village pending on the file of the 1st respondent vide No.Na.Ka.2268/2019/A5 dated 25.02.2020 expeditiously on merits.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned special government pleader appearing for the respondent and perused entire materials available on record.

3. It is the case of the writ petitioner that he has made representation to the Revenue Divisional Officer on 01.02.2012 with respect to UDR correction in certain survey numbers. However, no action was taken on petitioner's representation. Therefore, the petitioner preferred a writ petition in W.P. No.32772 of 2018. This court directed the RDO to consider the representation Page 2/4

within four weeks. Accordingly, the RDO submitted report to the 1st respondent on 25.02.2020. After that the 1st respondent directed the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry and submit report. However, till date no action has been taken. Hence this writ petition.

4. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the 1st respondent is directed to dispose of the pending UDR correction proceedings related to Survey Nos.364/5, 364/7, 364/8 and 474/3 situated in Thiruvallur District, Avadi Taluka, Vellanur Village pending on the file of the 1st respondent vide No.Na.Ka.2268/2019/A5 dated 25.02.2020, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
