This petition is filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, to condone the delay of 674 days in filing the Criminal Appeal against the judgment dated 09.05.2019 passed in C.C. No.3084/2016 by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court III, Saidapet, Chennai.

2. Though the respondents are served with notice, there is no representation on their behalf. This Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Therefore, the petition is allowed.
