O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to dispose of the petitioners representation dated 22.10.2018 and 24.10.2018 and direct the respondents to regularize the service of the petitioners with effect from 30.03.1999 instead of 12.11.2011 and consequently disburse all the service benefits due to the petitioners with all arrears from 01.04.2011.

2. Heard Mr.A.M.Packianathan Easter, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr. M.Shahjahan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. Though very many grounds have been raised in this Writ Petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 22.10.2018 and 24.10.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits, within a particular time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that he has no objection for the said order being passed by this Court.

5. In the light of the limited scope of prayer sought for in this writ petition and the submissions of the learned counsel on either side, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners' dated 22.10.2018 and 24.10.2018 if the same is not considered till date and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a

period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. J.SATHYA NARAYANA PRASAD ,J., mpa

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
