2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the second respondent.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the delay is condoned and this petition is ordered on condition that the appellant shall forfeit the interest for the delayed period, in the event of this court enhancing the compensation.
