ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking modification of the condition imposed upon the petitioner in paragraph No. 5(b) in Crl.M.P.No.3145 of 2026 dated 16.04.2026 passed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai that the petitioner should deposit a sum of Rs. 9,00,000 (Rupees Five Lakh Only) before the learned XI Metropolitan Magistrate Court Chennai to the credit of crime No. 13/2026.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is unable to arrange the conditional deposit amount of Rs.9,00,000/-. He further submitted that as the amount is huge and the petitioner's family is in a highly indigent and poor condition, with no one to financially assist him to comply with the condition order. Hence, he prayed for modification of the said condition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the Petitioner is unable to comply the conditional order of this Court. Hence, he opposed to allow this petition.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on records.

5. A perusal of the order reveals that such condition was imposed only based upon the voluntarily statement made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner. Hence, there are no grounds to modify the condition, further this Court does not find any reason to modify the condition.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 02-06-2026 Vv To
