The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records in Roc. No.29079/L1/2017 dated 14.07.2017 on the file of the respondent herein and to quash the same and to direct the respondent to reinstate the petitioner into service with all service benefits.
2.Heard the arguments advanced on either side. 3.The case of the petitioner is that a case was registered against him in Crime No.07/AC/2017/VPM on 29.06.2017 for the alleged offence under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and was arrested on 30.06.2017 and thereafter released 1/4 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
on bail on the same day. Thereafter the petitioner was placed under suspension vide order dated 14.07.2017. Though the suspension order was issued in the year 2017, the same has not yet been revoked. The petitioner in this regard made representation to the respondent on 15.11.2017 requesting to revoke the order of suspension, however, the same has not yet been considered. Hence, this writ petition.
4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondent to consider the representation dated 15.11.2017 and to pass appropriate orders.
5.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, I am inclined to issue direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.11.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.
6.The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
