Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for records to the disqualification slip dated 02.08.2021 issued to the petitioner (Enrolment No. 1501843) by the 2nd respondent and quash the same and further directing the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for appointment of Common Recruitment for the post of GR.II - PCS (Police Constable) GR.II JWS (Jail Wardens) and Fireman 2020 and pass such further order. ORDER

The petitioner has challenged the impugned disqualification order/slip dated 02.08.2021 issued by the 2nd respondent.

2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner's height is 170 cms whereas the respondents by the impugned disqualification slip stated that the petitioner height is 166 cms. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Already this Court has granted relief to some of the successful candidates by allowing them to participate in second round of physical test along with those who should not appeared due to Covid-19. Since the petitioner seems to have a plausible case for being appointed to the post of Grade-II Police Constable, as a last chance, the petitioner is given one more opportunity to appear along with those candidates.

4. The respondents shall issue Intimation Letter to the petitioner to participate in the physical test to be conducted on 22.09.2021 in Trichy. The petitioner is directed to appear for physical test of height only. It is made clear that the said opportunity will be the last opportunity for the petitioner. The respondents are also directed to keep in mind the Judgment of the Full Bench of this Court passed in W.A.Nos.8 to 12, 14 to 16, 23 & 24 of 2020 dated 29.01.2020.

5. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above observations.

No costs.

Consequently, connected Writ Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
