ORDER

This writ petition is filed for direction directing the respondents herein to dispose of the representation of the petitioner herein dated 15.10.2020 seeking reclassification of the land in S.No.109/2, Chekkadikuppam Village, Walajah Taluk, Ranipet District, as 'dry land' in the revenue records instead of water catchment poromboke within stipulated time frame.

2. Heard, Mr.N.Udhayakumar, the learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr.V.Jeevagiridharan, Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the representation of the petitioner dated 15.10.2020 and, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and counter parties, if any, and giving them opportunity of hearing, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
