ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to forward the Family Pension Proposal submitted by the petitioner on 28.03.2023 without any further delay and in case it is being received by the first respondent, to direct the first respondent to grant Family Pension to the petitioner within the time to be fixed by this court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that she is a divorced daughter of Mr.U.Raman. The petitioner is entitled to Family Pension as per G.O.Nos.325 dated 28.11.2011 and G.O.No.29 dated 31.01.2013. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted a proposal for Family Pension to the second respondent and the same has not been forward to the first respondent for granting Family Pension to the petitioner. Hence, seeks a direction to the respondents to grant Family Pension to the petitioner. 2/5

3. Heard Mr.V.Manisekaran, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mrs.Hema Muralikrishnan, learned counsel for the first respondent and Mr.P,Baladhandayutham, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the second and third respondents.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought in this Writ Petition, the second respondent is directed to forward the Family Pension proposal submitted by the petitioner to the first respondent and the first respondent is directed to consider the proposal and pass Orders on the same on its own merits within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
