This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the first respondent to give an appointment as Typist in favour of the petitioner in Kancheepuram Municipality. 2.Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents 1 & 2 jointly submitted that during the pendency of this writ petition, the * Third Respondent was given appointment and her service was also regularised and hence, nothing survives for adjudication.
