PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the 2nd Respondent relating to the impugned order bearing Ka.En.Se.Po/E&Pe/Avi/Ko.MuMuKi/Ko/A.En.2415/24 dated 31.05.2024 and quash the same and consequently direct the Respondents 1 to 3 to receive the actual usage charge of Rs.3099/- for my electricity service connection No.031640061117 and to restore my electricity service connection. Aggrieved by the demand notice issued by the 2 nd respondent dated 31.05.2024, the petitioner is before this Court.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the electricity service connection bearing service connection No.031640061534 had been mutated in favour of the 4th respondent pursuant to the gift deeds executed by the petitioner's mother. Despite the same, the present impugned demand notice dated 31.05.2024 has been issued by the 2nd respondent calling upon the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.49,059/- towards rental arrears. Aggrieved by which, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the impugned demand of Rs.49,059/- will be paid to the respondents without BPSC interest within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Court.
4. Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to close the case against the petitioner upon receipt of such payment as agreed by the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
