Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 16.07.2012, 20.07.2012, 27.08.2012, 10.06.2013, 30.09.2013 made by the petitioner herein for issuance of patta situated in S.No.231/1 to the extent of 65 cents, S.No.244 to the extent of 128 cents, S.No.245 to the extent of 95 cents and in S.No.246 to the extent of 45 cents in total 3 acres and 33 cents Pozhichalur village, Alandur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner seeks for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3, to consider and pass appropriate orders on his representations dated 16.07.2012, 20.07.2012, 27.08.2012, 10.06.2013 and 30.09.2013 for issuance of patta in respect of the properties situated at Pozhichalur village, Alandur Taluk, Kancheepuram District. In this regard, the petitioner has given representation to the Director of Backward Classes and Adi Dravidar Welfare Department, and the same was forwarded to the fourth respondent, vide proceedings, bearing Na.Ka.No.A1/1830/2013, dated 19.07.2013, directing the fourth respondent to take appropriate action on the petitioner's representation and keep the petitioner informed about all further developments, subsequently thereafter, there was no progress regarding the petitioner's prayer.
Even the further representations made by the petitioner evoked no response. Hence, the petitioner is constrained to approach this Court by way of filing present writ petition seeking for the aforesaid prayer.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents 1 to 4.

In the light of the above fact that the Director of Backward Classes has directed the fourth respondent to look into the grievance of the petitioner and intimate the petitioner, regarding the steps taken with regard to the petitioner's request and the fourth respondent has not taken any steps even to find out whether the request of the petitioner is feasible for consideration, there will be a direction to the fourth respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representations dated 30.09.2013 08.10.2013 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and also apprise the petitioner about the decision taken by him with regard to the petitioner's request.
