ORDER

The writ petitioner has died. He had filed a writ petition seeking compensation for the death of his mother, according to him, owing to electrocution.

2.There is a circular of the Electricity Department, which stipulates about Rs.5,00,000/- can be paid for a fatal accident and Rs.1,00,000/- can be paid for the injuries caused due to electrocution. Of course, the conditions in the said circular will have to be complied with or satisfied. Since the writ petitioner has died, liberty is granted to the legal representatives of the petitioner, if they have an actionable claim to approach the concerned District Legal Services Authority for appropriate reliefs, in accordance with the circular issued by the Electricity Department. 3.With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
