M/s. T. Saikrishna COMMON ORDER By an order dated 21.01.2026, I had referred the dispute for mediation. I did so because the parties were formerly married to each other and they have only been litigating with respect to the custody of the child born to them.

2. Both the parties have moved on and started their lives afresh. Hence, there was no purpose in continuing the relationship only for the sake of litigation. I nominated Ms.Sudarsana Sundar as the Mediator.

3. The Mediator has been successful in arriving at a settlement between the parties. Both Mr.Guruprasad as well as Mr.Saikrishna state that their clients stand by the settlement. Hence, the Review Petitions are disposed of, recording the said statement.

4. As the entire issue between the petitioner and the respondent had been settled in mediation, the learned Principal District Judge, Tiruvallur shall record this order, the mediation report and pass a decree accordingly in G.W.O.P.No.112 of 2022 pending on its file. Registry to send a copy of the mediation report to the learned Principal District Judge, Tiruvallur to enable the said Officer to carry out the directions in the order.

5. This Court appreciates the efforts taken by the Mediator. Each party shall pay a sum of Rs.25,000/- to the mediator. 27-02-2026 Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No KKD
