ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the 2 nd respondent to register, release and handover the Assignment Agreement dated 24.9.2024, executed between the petitioner and HDB Financial services limited bearing No.P/I/553/2024.

2.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner have entered into an Assignment Agreement dated 24.09.2024, for assignment of certain debts of various borrowers along with underlying securities, in favour of the petitioner Company and presented the said Assignment Agreement dated

24.09.2024 for registration before the 2 nd respondent. However, till date the 2 nd respondent has kept the document pending. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed seeking to register, release and handover the Assignment Agreement dated 24.09.2024 forthwith.

3.Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that since the 2 nd respondent has to verify with various other SubRegistrar as regards the Assignment Agreement dated 24.09.2024, the delay has occurred in registering the same. He would further submit that within a period of two weeks, the 2 nd respondent would register and release the Assignment Agreement dated 24.09.2024.

4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 5.Considering the submissions made by either parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of

the case, this Court directs the 2 nd respondent to register, release and handover the Assignment Agreement dated 24.09.2024, presented by the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There is no order as to costs.
