This writ petition has been filed, directing the respondents to provide the balance compensation amount for the lands in S.F.No. 174/5 and 174/4 in Samalapuram Village of Palladam Taluk in Tiruppur District, taken over by the nd respondent for drawing High-Tension line for the project of Pugalur to Arasur 400 KVT within a stipulated time to be fixed by this Court by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 09.01.2023. 2.The case of the petitioner is that she is owning house site lands in S.F.No.174/5 and 174/4 in Samalapuram Village of Palladam Taluk. The 2 nd respondent drew an HT line over the petitioner's land as a result of which her land measuring 45 1⁄2 cents was affected and the land value was diminished. The

Being not satisfied with the same, the petitioner made an application under RTA Act before the Headquarters Deputy Tahsildar for fixation of the value of the land in the above mentioned survey numbers. In response, the Public Information Officer-cum-Headquarters Deputy Tahsildar sent a reply to the petitioner on 07.06.2022 informing that a sum of Rs.43,497/- was fixed as compensation per cent. Accordingly, the petitioner is entitled to Rs.19,57,365/- for the said 45 1⁄2 cents of land. However, the respondents granted only a sum of Rs.6,51,860/-, and the balance amount Rs.13,055,05/- was not paid. In such circumstances, the petitioner sent a representation dated 09.01.2023 to the respondents, requesting to pay the balance amount. However, the same was not considered.

Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2023 in terms of Section 16 of Indian Telegraphic Act and pass appropriate orders.

4.The learned counsel for the 2 nd respondent would submit that if the first respondent passes any appropriate order, the same will be implemented by the second respondent. Hence, he prayed for appropriate orders. 5.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.01.2023 on its merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
