ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner through video conferencing made a submission that the petitioner has chosen to withdraw this writ petition.

2. However, learned Government Advocate raised an objection by stating that the enquiry was already in progress, based on the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.33239/2022 dated 12.12.2022. Learned Government Advocate further states that a set of documents and authorities presented by the petitioner has raised a doubt about the genuinity of the document and accordingly, the petitioner was directed to produce the original document.

3. No doubt, in the event of identification of any fraudulent or forged document, the competent authorities are bound to initiate criminal action against the person concerned. If it is found to be genuine, then appropriate enquiry is to be conducted and final orders are to be passed on merits and in accordance with law.

4. In view of the submission made on behalf of the petitioner, the petitioner is permitted to withdraw this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
