O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., seeking completion of investigation and file final report, within a period to be fixed by this Court.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the case registered by the Vigilance and Anti Corruption at Cuddalore in Crime No.1/2022 on 07.03.2022, not seen much progress in the investigation for the reason best known and therefore, intervention of this Court exercising its inherent power is required, to expedite the investigation. 3.

Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) states that so far they have recorded statement of 19 witnesses and investigation is under progress and within, a period of two months, they will complete the investigation and file final report.

On perusal of the FIR indicates that the alleged occurrence took place in the year 2014. After repeated complaint, FIR has been registered in the month of March 2022, but, till date, investigation not yet completed inspite of one year quarter has lapsed. 5.

The respondents police is directed to expedite the investigation and to complete it, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order and file final report.

With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
