The suit had been filed seeking a declaration that the 2nd, 3rd and 4th plaintiffs have been lawfully elected to their respective posts in Tamil Nadu Electricity Workers' Federation. The address of the Federation is at Chennai. It is stated that the 1st, 2nd and 3rd defendants had thereafter conducted a separate meeting and had declared the election of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th plaintiffs as null and void and had also filed a suit in the City Civil Court. 2.

Taking into consideration the fact that the office of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Workers' Federation is within the jurisdiction of this Court and the suit relates to election to that particular Federation, leave is granted and the application stands allowed.
