Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the 4th and 5th respondents from the petitioners' shop by vending goods at T.Nagar, Chennai, consequently directing the respondents to implement the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, dated 09.09.2014 in Civil Appeal Nos.4156-4157 of 2002 and the street vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of street vending) Act, 2014.

Heard both sides and perused the records.

2.The prayer made in this writ petition to issue a Mandamus, forbearing the 4th and 5th respondents from the petitioners' shop by vending goods at T.Nagar, Chennai and consequently directing the respondents to implement the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, dated 09.09.2014 in Civil Appeal Nos.4156 and 4157 of 2002 and the street vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of street vending) Act, 2014, does not survive at this length of time, in the opinion of this Court. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
