This petition has been filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail in connection with Spl.Cc No. 32 of 2024 on the file of the Special Judge for EC/NDPS Act Cases, Salem.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 12.04.2023, the respondent police found the accused persons while transporting 200 kgs of Ganja in two wheeler. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and also stated that he has been in jail for more than 300 days. Further, he stated that based on the confession the petitioner has been implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to allow this petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submits that the contraband seized from the accused person was 200 kgs of Ganja which is commercial quantity. Hence, he raised objection to grant bail.

5. Considering the fact that the contraband seized from the accused persons is commercial quantity and also the petitioner is having previous case. Hence, this Court is not inclined to allow this petition. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
