This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the complaint is pending against this petitioner. Hence, the summons to the petitioner at Erode address was sought to be served, but he was not present in that place. Having come to know that the police has come to his place to serve notice, the present petition is filed alleging police is harassing. He further submits that the presence of the petitioner is required for enquiry on the complaint given on 06.06.2024 in C.No.406/PG/DC/HQURS.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is presently residing in Coimbatore and therefore, he was not available in the Erode address.

The petitioner is therefore directed to furnish his Coimbatore address and also appear before the respondent police on 19.07.2024 at 2/4

10.30 a.m., and co-operate with the investigation. With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
