J., This petition is filed to enlarge petitioner on bail in Crime No.265 of 2022 pending investigation on the file of the respondent Police. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is implicated as accused in Cr.No.265 of 2022 registered for the offences under Section 406 and 420 I.P.C. on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused. Petitioner is friend of A7/Sekar. Petitioner is in judicial custody from 18.05.2023. Thus, he prays for grant of bail. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) opposed this petition on the ground that the accused in this case are involved in job racketing. They collected more than Rs.3,00,00,000/- from more than 26 victims. Petitioner was working as agent under A1 and A2. Petitioner as an agent of A1 and A2, collected a sum of Rs.74,00,000/- from six victims on the promise of offering jobs in Tamil Nadu Electricity Board 1/3

and Medical college. For the said purpose, petitioner was said to have been paid Rs.11,00,000/- as commission. The investigation in this case is pending.

4.Considered the rival submissions and perused the records. 5.In the light of the facts and circumstances and submission of learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), that the accused in this case had cheated innocent, vulnerable job seekers to the tune of Rs.3,00,00,000/- and above, the number of persons cheated and reported so far is twenty-six, so far no amount was recovered from any of the accused and that investigation in this case is pending, this Court is not inclined to consider petitioner's bail petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
