ORDER

This petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondents to register the complaint dated 14.08.2015 made by the petitioner and investigate the same in accordance with law and file a final report within a time stipulated by this Court.

2.Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondents on 14.08.2015. But the respondents have not taken any steps to register the complaint. Therefore, he has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief.

3.Today, learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced an F.I.R., which shows that on the basis of the petitioner's complaint, a case has been registered on 05.02.2016, in Crime No.30 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 406, 420 and 506(i) IPC.

4.In view of the above submissions, the second respondent police is directed to investigate the matter and file a final report as expeditiously as possible.

5.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
