PRAYER in C.M.P.No.23494 of 2019: This Civil Miscellaneous Petition filed under Section 5 of Limitation Act read with Section 25(3) of Tamil Nadu Building Lease and Rent Control Act, to condone the delay of 17 days in filing the present Civil Revision petition.

PRAYER in C.R.P.SR.No.70635 of 2019: This Civil Revision Petition filed under Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease&Rent) Control Act, to set aside the fair and decreetal order passed in R.C.A.No.451/2012 on the file of VIIth Judge, Small Causes Court, at Chennai by its order dated 29.03.2019 and consequently allow the E.A.No.76/2012 in E.P.No.13/2012 in R.C.O.P.No.2028/2007 on the file of Xth Judge, Small Causes Court, at Chennai by its order dated 30.07.2012. This Civil Miscellaneous Petition is filed to condone the delay of 17 days in filing the present Civil Revision Petition.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent/landlord is present and he submitted that this petition is filed by the tenant against the order of eviction and that there was an arrears of rent to the tune of Rs.1,40,000/- by the petitioners/tenants.

3. There was no representation for the petitioners before this Court continuously for two hearings i.e., on 27.08.2020 and 10.09.2020. Even today, there is no representation for the petitioners and hence the matter was passed over. Again at 12.30 p.m, when the matter was taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioners. Hence, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed for default. No costs. Consequently, CRP.SR.No.70635 of 2019 is rejected.
