[Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR, J.,] (1)Mr.R.Vigneswaran, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the 1st respondent and Mr.D.B.R.Prabhu, learned Standing counsel accepts notice on behalf of respondents 2 to 4 and 6 to 8. (2)This writ petition is filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 25.05.2024 and 31.05.2024 for allotment of a small steel bunk shop to enable the petitioner to put up the same and carry on business. (3)The petitioner states that he is a physically challenged due to 90% of post polio residual paralysis both lower limbs. In order to eke out his livelihood, the petitioner intend to put up a small bunk shop in a place which according to him, is convenient. However, permission can be granted only if the place in which the petitioner seeks permission, is not a ''No Vending Zone'' as may be decided by the Vending Committee. (4)In such circumstances, the petitioner is permitted to submit a representation to the Vending Committee which shall decide the

representation of the petitioner. In case, the place suggested by the petitioner is held not to be ''No Vending Zone'' by the Vending Committee, the representation of the petitioner may be considered in accordance with law and disposed of within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
