O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the second respondent to consider the forwarding letter dated 10.06.2024 by the third respondent based on the representation dated 20.01.2024 made by the petitioner.

2. The petitioner was initially appointed as Over Head Tank Watchman of B.Mallapuram, Town Panchayat, Dharmapuri District. When the petitioner was carrying out the duty, on the complaint trapped was set up and he was arrested and remanded to judicial custody. In pursuant to the registration of the First Information Report in Crime No. 06/AC/2023 by the Inspector of Police, Vigilance and Anti Corruption Department on 13.10.2023 alleging that the petitioner received a sum of Rs.25,000/- as 2/5

bribe. Now, investigation is still pending.

3. Though the representation of the petitioner dated 20.01.2024 to the third respondent and the same was forwarded to the second respondent, it cannot be considered to revoke the order of suspension. Since the petitioner involved in the case of Vigilance and Anti Corruption, the investigation has been still pending. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to allow this Writ Petition.
