Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 5 to transfer the enquiry to the 6th respondent CBCID to an investigation Officer not below the rank of DSP and further direct the respondents to pay compensation of an amount of Rs.5,00,000/- for the mental agony undergone by the petition due to the inaction on the part of the respondents 2 to 5 pursuant to his complaint in the circumstances that his life is under threat.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the respondents 1 to 5 to transfer the enquiry to the 6th respondent CBCID to an investigation Officer not below the rank of DSP and further direct the respondents to pay compensation of an amount of Rs.5,00,000/-.
2. When the matter was posted on 29.03.2019, no one appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Therefore the matter was posted on 05.04.2019 under the caption "for dismissal". Today (05.04.2019) also none appeared on behalf of the petitioner.
3. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed for default. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
