ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. In view of the order that this Court proposes to pass and also the limited relief that is sought to be granted, notice to 4th and 5th respondents are dispensed with. 2.The present writ petition is filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation dated 05.05.2025 and to carry out the measurements and to fix the boundaries stones as per petitioner's documents and patta, with the help of Police Protection, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court. 3.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the land in S.No.1/3C2, measuring an extent of acres 2.27 cents, situated at Mookur Village, Cheyyar Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District along with 2/6
other land originally belonged to one Gopal Gounder. The said land was purchased by the said Gopal Gounder under a Sale Deed dated 15.06.1984, registered as Document No.s361/1984 before the SRO, 4.It is further submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that the petitioner had submitted representation on 05.05.2025 to carry out measurement and to fix boundaries stones of the subject property. Since the petitioner's representation was not considered by the respondents till date, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. Further, the learned counsel for the petitioner would request that adequate police protection may be provided at the time of survey. 5.
Learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 & 2 would submit that they would conduct measurement and fix boundary stones of the subject property within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. It is further submitted by the learned Government Advocate that in case police protection is required they would request 3rd respondent.

6.In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to carry out measurement and fix the boundary stones of the subject property, after putting the petitioner, respondents 4 & 5, adjacent land owners and other interested parties including rival claimants if any on notice, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the 2nd respondent to request for police protection before the 3rd respondent. If any such request is made the 3rd respondent is directed to provide adequate police protection for carrying out measurement. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law.
