The petitioner prays for a certiorarified mandamus calling for the records in show cause notice dated 23.10.2020 issued by R2/the Commissioner, Prohibition and Excise Department, Chennai.

2. By order dated 02.02.2021, I have recorded the submission of Mr.R.P.Prathap Singh, learned Government Advocate, who has accepted notice on behalf of the respondents to the effect that the proceedings will be completed by R2/the Commissioner Prohibition and Excise Department bearing in mind https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the reply dated 04.11.2020 filed by the petitioner to the show cause notice dated 23.10.2020.

3. Today, a copy of order dated 10.02.2021, passed by the Commissioner is placed on file consequent upon which, this writ petition is rendered infructuous. This writ petition is closed. Connected, miscellaneous petition is also closed. No costs.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner says that while he accepts the imposition of fine as per order dated 10.02.2021, the amount may be adjusted from other amounts that are due to be refunded to the petitioner by the second respondent.
