(Made by The Hon'ble The Chief Justice) The petitioner claims that a licence was granted by the first respondent for three years from the date of signing of the agreements, giving right to maintain the masonry centre median with greenery in respect of G.S.T. Road between Kilometer 6/0 - 6/3 and 6/3 - 6/7.
2. It is alleged that during the subsistence of licence period, advertisement was issued by the respondents calling for tenders from interested parties. It is, on this allegation, the petition was filed and interim orders were granted to maintain status quo on 03.06.2008.
3. No counter-affidavit has been filed.
4. In our view, the petition itself has become infructuous, as the period of licence for three years had expired long time back in the year 2011 and it is accordingly disposed of. No costs. Consequently, M.P. No.1 of 2008 is closed and interim orders stand vacated.
