2 LOKESH Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to amend as the respondent the Inspector of Police, R2 Kodambakkam Police Station, Kodambakkam, Chennai city instead of the Sub Inspector of Police, Thirumangalam Police Station, Thirumangalam, Chennai City in the petitioner cause title in Crl.O.P.No.15245 of 2021.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. M.PALANIVEL, Advocate for the petitioners and of MR.A.DAMODARAN, Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side) on behalf of the 1st Respondent the court made the following order:- The petitioners/A1 to A3, who were accused in Cr.No.561 of 2021 had filed this quash petition in Crl.OP.No.15245 of 2021.

2.While filing the petition, they had shown the Inspector of Police, Thirumangalam, Chennai City, as the first respondent. Thereafter, it was represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the case has been transferred to the Inspector of Police, R2 Kodambakkam Police Station, Kodambakkam, Chennai City. Hence, this present amendment petition has been filed. 3.It is further represented that now the complaint has been again transferred to the file of the Inspector of Police, R3, Ashok Nagar Police Station, Ashok Nagar, Chennai City, on the point of jurisdiction. In view of the same, the criminal Miscellaneous petition in Crl.MP.No.9387 of 2021 is dismissed as infructuous. 4.This Court, directs the petitioners to file a fresh miscellaneous petition arraying the Inspector of Police, R3, Ashok Nagar Police Station, Ashok Nagar, Chennai City, as the first respondent in the Crl.OP.No.15245 of 2021.
