Respondents Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Declaration declaring that the impugned clauses 8(4)(e) of the All India Council for Technical Education (Grant of approval for starting new technical institutions, introduction of courses or programme and approval) Regulation 1994 an 1997 issued by the impugned Notification of the 1st respondent dated 20.11.

Engineering and Electronics and Electrical Engineering each and for new course of B.E. Civil Engineering from the academic year 2004-2005 in favour of the petitioner National College of Engineering.

ORDER

Seeking declaration to declare the impugned Notification of the 1st respondent dated 20.11.2002 as null and void and also to direct the 2nd respondent to grant approval to the increased intake of students from 60 to 120 in Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electronics and Electrical Engineering each and for new course of B.E. Civil Engineering from the academic year 2004-2005, the petitioner has approached this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the prayer of the petitioner is met with by the authorities and nothing survives in the writ petition for adjudication. 3.

Recording the same, the writ petition is disposed of as having become infructuous. No costs.
