...Respondent
Prayer:- Appeal filed under Section 38 of the Tamil Nadu General Sales Tax Act to revise the order of the Sales Tax Appellate Tribunal, Main Bench, Chennai dated 10th Nov, 1998 and passed in TA No.426/97.T.M.F.No.456/97.

ORDER
(Order of the Court is made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM.J.,) Ms.Aparna Nadakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that she was initially the counsel for the petitioner and returned the papers to the client long back in the year 2008.
2. We find that the Division Bench heard the matter on 23.04.2009 and noted such representation that there is a change of counsel for the assessee/revision petitioner. Subsequently, the matter came up for hearing in December 2009 and it was adjourned by four weeks. Till date the petitioner has not made any alternative arrangement. Thus, we are of the view that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the revision.
Hence, the Tax Case Revision is dismissed for non-prosecution. Question of Law raised is left open for decision. No costs. [T.S.S.J.,] [N.S.S.,J] 27.06.2018 gpa
