ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested on 28.04.2021 and remanded to judicial custody for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 380, 457 of IPC, C.C.No.205 of 2021 pending trial on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.2, Villupuram in Crime No.1697 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had robbed 4 sovereigns of gold and one LED T.V,Loudspeaker and cash of Rs.30,000/- belongs to the defacto complainant. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner has been in jail from 28.04.2021. Therefore, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that there are sixty previous cases pending as against the petitioner and he is a habitual offender. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that there are sixty previous cases pending as against the petitioner and considering the gravity of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
