This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.3 of 2021 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Thiruthani.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that now the trial has commenced and so far 6 witnesses were examined out of 11 prosecution witnesses. At this stage, the quash petition has been filed to quash the entire proceedings.

3. In view of the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. The Trial court is directed to complete the trial within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
