Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned communication dated 10.03.2026 by the impugned letter in R.C. No. 82/2026/LND/LC-14/CMRL, issued by the 4th respondent and to quash the same, consequently forbear the respondents from acquiring the petitioner's land comprised in Town Survey No. 3/2, bearing New Door No. 13/20, situate at Pallavaram Village and Taluk, Chengalpattu District for the purpose of Airport to Kilambakkam Phase I, CMRL Project. The petitioner apprehends that his land may be acquired for Metro Rail Project without taking note of his objections. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent submitted that notification under Section 3(2) of Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997 is yet to be issued and as and when the same is issued, the petitioner's objections will be duly taken note of.

Recording the aforesaid submission, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 20.05.2026 nv 3/4 To 1.
