This Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to implement order of the 2nd respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.102026/2001/L2 dated 09.02.2019 by considering the representation of the petitioner's dated 24.09.2020.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to implement the orders passed by the 2nd respondent in proceedings dated 09.02.2019, after considering the representation made by the petitioner on 24.09.2020.

2.The grievance that has been expressed by the petitioner is that free house sites have been given to ineligible persons and the genuine homeless poor Adi Dravidar community persons were denied the allotment of free house sites. Hence, a representation was made to the respondents and according to the petitioner no action was taken.

3.Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents circulated written instructions received from the 5th respondent. It is noticed that already action has been taken in line with the orders passed by the 2nd respondent and seven allotments have already been cancelled and 25 persons, who were found eligible alone were allotted free house sites, each measuring 2 cents. It is further seen from the written instructions that the construction that was sought to be made by those persons, whose allotment was cancelled, was also stopped and they have been warned that if they entered into the property, complaint will be given to the police.

4.It is very clear from the instructions given by the 5th respondent that already sufficient action has been taken and 7 allotments have been cancelled. The submissions of the learned Special Government Pleader and the written instructions given by the 5th respondent is hereby recorded.

5.This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed. No costs.
