ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- (The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 418 and 420 of IPC in Crime No.3711 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner has purchased a car from the defacto complainant for a sum of Rs.2,10,000/- and the petitioner has issued a cheque for the same and the said cheque was dishonoured. The defacto complainant has informed about the same to the petitioner, for which, the petitioner has replied that the car is in the hands of another person at Vellore and collect the car from him. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that there are 14 previous cases against the petitioner. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and also considering the fact that there are 14 previous previous cases against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
