ORDER

This petition has been filed to modify the condition No.11 (b) imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.7689 of 2026 dated 09.04.2026. __________ https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

CRL MP No. 8851 of 2026 C.KUMARAPPAN, J.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in condition No.11 (b), this Court made it clear that no relaxation petition would be entertained for a period of sixty days. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioner has been complying the condition since, 08.05.2026 and the trial has now been fixed. Furthermore, because the petitioner is a resident of Kerala, he finds it difficult to reside in Chennai.

3.Considering the totality of the circumstances, and the fact that the petitioner has been signing since 08.05.2026, and the same is not seriously disputed by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), the condition barring the petitioner from filing a relaxation petition is modified to thirty days.

4. Accordingly, the Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered. 01-06-2026 ep To
